Music and lyrics are written and sung by Kay Borgelt, Lincoln, NE. Kay, a native Nebraskan, has a Bachelors Degree in Education. She has taught elementary education, as well as high school Spanish, which inspired her to create a fun, easy way to enhance language skills. Her goal is to help bridge the communication gap between cultures, as well as to increase language awareness.

The CD has 15 original songs presented in Spanish and English, for people of all ages to learn another language. Each song is sung in Spanish, followed by the English version of the same song. The CD uses simple, fun songs to teach a variety of topics, including numbers, foods, colors, and other beginning words and phrases. Each song is 1-2 minutes in length, rhythmic, entertaining, and easy-to-learn.
A 16-page booklet is included, with song lyrics in Spanish and English, a pronunciation guide for the Spanish lyrics, and a Spanish wordlist with 177 terms and phrases.
The goal in learning another language is to bridge the communication gap between cultures and to strengthen language skills in order to meet the needs of an ever-changing world. For child through adult, singing is a teaching tool that reaches out and grabs the attention of the learner. The result? Learning happens through repetition without the learner even realizing it, while at the same time having fun.
